Experimental Performances
Basé à New York, le Panoply Lab a invité l'organisation parisienne de performances expérimentales Dimanche Rouge à transmette à New York un programme de trois heures réalisé à Paris. Plus de dix artistes se produiront dans des spectacles comportant de la performance art, de la multimédia, de la danse, de l'audio et de la vidéo à partir du Batofar, retransmis par streaming en direct au Grace Exhibition Space, l'un des centres les plus réputés en matière de performances artistiques à New York. Venez encourager les artistes parisiens dans leurs performances locales diffusées sur la scène de New York, et participez à cet événement international interactif unique en son genre.
Paris, présent en plein centre de New York, est fier de faire partie de la Conférence de Travail: Opérations et Participations. La Conférence de Travail : Opérations et Participations du Panoply Lab comporte une partie pratique de groupe et une partie théorique du «laboratoire d'idées » sur cinq jours, avec la participation d'éminents artistes et institutions.
Depuis sa création en Février 2011, l'événement de performances expérimentales internationales Dimanche Rouge a accueilli 9 éditions uniques, avec près de 200 artistes venus de 35 pays. Organisée en France tous les troisièmes dimanches à Paris, Dimanche Rouge met en vedette une variété de performances, incluant, mais ne se limitant pas qu'à cela, du multimédia, de l'audiovisuel, du son, des graffitis, des actions, de la danse, de l'art corporel et des interventions.

Alexandre Pombo-Mendes et Emilie Westbye feront leur performance simultanément avec la co-directrice de Panoplie Lab Esther Neff et Michael Newton à New York. Pombo-Mendes explore comment la théorie Queer pourrait donner lieu à une pratique performative. A travers sa performance érotico-poétique et philosophico-politique, Pombo-Mendes interroge la sexualité en tant que construction aliénanet et capitaliste, dans un monde dominé par l'argent. Cette performance, inspirée de Foucault et Derrida, prend appui sur le «Manifeste contra-sexuel» de Beatriz Preciado.
Dans Zondag, Carmen R. Cruz plonge le spectateur dans un cas particulier de vie quotidienne. Le corps empiète sur l'espace et le temps dans un espace mental. Dans Zondag, une série de dialogues est activée et se poursuit avec les émotions sur scène.
L'artiste vidéo Daniel Guadard, en compagnie du musicien Meryll Ampe, présentera Decens Absens. Gaudard propose des itinéraires étrangement entremêlées et des portraits vidéo éblouissants. Ampe utilise des compositions personnalisées d'éléments sonores dans une sombre ambiance onirique.
La performance de l'artiste italienne Manuela Centrone sera faite d'une conférence performative pour expliquer et montrer ce qu'est une performance artistique et quels sont les éléments les plus importants d'une performance d'action artistique, l'interaction avec le matériel, le partage d'une expérience avec le public, la transformation de l'espace et la présence / l'existence de l'artiste comme être humain.
ETC (Julien Arnaud + Anthony Carcone + Emmanuel Rébus), le Trio d'artistes exécutant, musicien, interprète vocal présenteront une méta performance basée sur l'art sonore/acoustique expérimental. ETC consacrera ses travaux aux 50 ans d'après "nouvelle ontologie de la musique" de Juin Paik Nam.
L'artiste Savio Debernardis donnera une vidéo-performance explorant les mécaniques de la communication : communication virtuelle, communication réelle, non-communication. Le travail de Debernadis interroge l'identité, la foule et l'individualité.
Vlasta Delimar fera une conférence performative présentant ses trente ans de trajectoire comme artiste de la performance dans les Balkans. Delimar sera à Zagreb pour sa participation en streaming à Paris / New York.

A soiree of experimental performances in Paris streamed live to NYC's renowned Grace Exhibition Space
New York based Panoply Lab has invited the Parisian experimental performance organization Dimanche Rouge to stream three hours of programming from Paris to NYC. Over ten artists will perform pieces ranging from performance art, multimedia, sound, and video from Batofar, shown live at Grace Exhibition Space, one of the most respected centers for performance art in New York City. Come support Parisian artists locally in their performances on the New York stage, and participate in this interactive, international, one-of-a-kind event.
Paris in NYC is proud to be included in Conference of Work: Operations and Participations. Panopoly Lab's Conference of Work: Operations and Participations is part group exhibition and part theoretical thinktank, a five-day event with the participation of prominent artists and institutions.
Since its inception in Feburary 2011, the international experimental performance event Dimanche Rouge has hosted 9 unique editions, featuring almost 200 artists coming from 35 countries. Held every third Sunday in Paris, France, Dimanche Rouge showcases a variety of performances including but not limited to multimedia, audiovisual, sound, graffiti, actions, dance, body art, and interventions.

Alexandre Pombo-Mendes and Emilie Westbye will be performing in simultaneous with Panoply Lab co-director Esther Neff and Michael Newton in NYC. Pombo-Mendes explores how queer theory can give rise to a performative practice. Through his erotic/poetic and philosophic/political performance, Pombo-Mendes interrogates sexuality as an alienating and capitalist construction in a world dominated by money. This performance, inspired by Foucault and Derrida, is based on the "Manifeste contra-sexuel" by Beatriz Preciado.
In Zondag, Carmen R. Cruz immerses the viewer in a particular case of a daily life. The body trespasses space and time in a mental space. In Zondag, a series of dialogues are activated and run with emotions on stage.
Video artist Daniel Guadard along with musician Méryll Ampe will perform Absens Decens. Gaudard proposes routes strangely intertwined and dazzling video portraits. Ampe uses personal sound elements composing and recompsing in an oniric dark ambience.
Italian performance artist Manuela Centrone will be doing a performative lecture to explain and show what is performance art and which are the most important elements of an art performance action: interaction with the materials, sharing an experience with the public, transformation of the space, and presence/existence of the artist as human being.
ETC (Julien Arnaud + Anthony Carcone + Emmanuel Rébus) trio performers, musicians, spoken-word artists will present a meta performance based on several sound art / acoustics experiments. ETC will devote its work to the 50 years after Nam June Paik's "new ontology of music."
Artist Savio Debernardis will give a video-performance exploring the mechanics of communication: virtual communication, real communication, non-communication. Debernadis' work questions identity, crowd, and individuality.
Vlasta Delimar will do a performative lecture presenting her thirty-year trajectory as a performance artist in the Balkans. Delimar will be in Zagreb streaming her participation to Paris/NYC.
